Coach is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for the Coach Trafford Centre store in Trafford, UK—lead sales, operations and team development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager to achieve and exceed sales targets through forecasting, planning and execution of category initiatives.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering Coach service standards and resolving customer issues promptly to protect brand reputation.
  • Recruit, onboard and coach store staff; develop talent pipelines and drive team engagement and performance.
  • Operate and optimise omni-channel services including virtual shopping, clienteling and customer data capture to enhance sales and retention.
  • Oversee operational compliance: scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, vendor relationships and adherence to visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor KPIs and market trends; collaborate with district and corporate teams to shape store strategies and share actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ years of leadership experience in retail or service environments; luxury or fashion retail background preferred.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead, motivate and develop a sales team to exceed performance targets.
  • Strong customer focus with proven experience delivering high-quality client experiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale / store management systems; understanding of omni-channel and clienteling practices.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience
