Coach hiring Assistant Store Manager in Shenzhen for retail operations, sales leadership, and team management in luxury fashion retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance and strategy execution by assisting the Store Manager through sales forecasting, planning, and category activation to achieve targets; continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies as needed
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by cultivating an inclusive, vibrant retail environment consistent with Coach standards; resolve customer issues promptly and effectively; serve as a brand ambassador within the store and community
  • Lead and develop talent through recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of team members; foster a collaborative culture and build a high-potential talent pipeline aligned with brand vision
  • Implement omnichannel and digital engagement by supporting virtual shopping experiences, clienteling (customer relationship management), and customer data collection; leverage social media trends to enhance customer experience
  • Ensure operational excellence by overseeing policy compliance—including scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, and visual merchandising standards; maintain store safety and manage vendor relationships
  • Collaborate and communicate with management to interpret market trends, develop store strategy, and share insights with regional and headquarters teams to drive cross-functional project delivery

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management or assistant management in a luxury retail environment
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs, sales forecasting, and inventory management
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing retail teams
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to model Coach service standards
  • Proficiency with retail management systems and omnichannel/digital retail tools
  • Understanding of visual merchandising, loss prevention, and compliance procedures
