Coach in San Marcos, Texas seeks an Assistant Store Manager — full-time retail leadership role driving sales, service and team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through forecasting, planning, category initiatives and KPI monitoring; adapt strategies to respond to market and performance data.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to deliver Coach service standards and resolve customer concerns swiftly, acting as a visible brand ambassador in-store and in the community.
- Recruit, onboard and coach store team members; develop talent, drive performance, and sustain a collaborative culture aligned with the brand’s vision.
- Execute omnichannel initiatives including virtual shopping, clienteling and customer data acquisition to enhance lifetime value and digital-to-store conversion.
- Oversee store operations and compliance: scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, vendor relations, and adherence to visual merchandising and safety standards.
- Partner with district and corporate teams to interpret market trends, share store-level insights and contribute to cross-functional projects and local store strategy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams to exceed performance standards.
- Demonstrated customer focus with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail systems; working knowledge of omnichannel services and clienteling strategies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and high-traffic retail days; ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in retail or service environments; prior experience in luxury or fashion retail is preferred. A combination of formal education and relevant experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and retail leadership experience accepted.

The successful candidate will be located in San Marcos, Texas, USA, with easy access to Austin.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
