Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving store sales targets and key performance indicators, driving conversion, average transaction value and retention.
- Coach, develop and schedule boutique staff to deliver exceptional, personalized client service consistent with brand standards.
- Lead floor operations including visual merchandising, product presentation, inventory control and replenishment to maximize sell-through.
- Ensure flawless clienteling through CRM usage, follow-up activity and management of client appointments and outreach.
- Manage daily store administrative tasks—opening/closing procedures, cash handling, till reconciliation and basic payroll/scheduling inputs.
- Maintain compliance with loss-prevention protocols, brand policies and local regulatory requirements.
- Act as on-duty manager when required, resolving client escalations and operational issues with poise and discretion.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in retail, preferably within a luxury or premium fashion brand.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage store-level KPIs.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of coaching, developing and motivating sales teams.
- Strong merchandising sensibility and attention to detail in product presentation.
- Sound judgment in cash handling, inventory control and loss-prevention practices.
Experience
Typically requires 2–4 years of progressive retail experience with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant management capacity; experience with luxury or premium brands is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
