Coach Assistant Store Manager

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and local KPIs through daily coaching, performance management and tactical selling.
- Lead and develop the sales team via clienteling, training, feedback and career development to maintain elevated service standards.
- Execute visual merchandising and store presentation standards to align with brand directives and seasonal campaigns.
- Oversee daily store operations including cash handling, POS reconciliation, stock control, inventory replenishment and shrink prevention.
- Build and sustain high-value client relationships through proactive outreach, appointment management and personalized service.
- Create accurate schedules and manage labor to meet business needs while controlling store payroll and operational costs.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding and performance reviews, and stand in for the Store Manager as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or assistant-management experience in retail; luxury or premium fashion experience preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing retail teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on clienteling and customer relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations reliably, including cash handling, inventory and loss-prevention procedures.
- Flexible availability for retail hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Experience
At least two years of frontline supervisory or assistant management experience in a retail environment, preferably within a luxury or premium fashion brand, with demonstrable sales leadership and team development results.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related field is preferred.
