Coach is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in New York. Lead retail operations, drive sales and develop teams for a global luxury accessories brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators through daily coaching and team leadership.
  • Drive exceptional clienteling and customer service; resolve escalated client issues to preserve brand standards and loyalty.
  • Lead salesfloor execution including visual merchandising, product presentation and store standards to ensure an elevated luxury experience.
  • Manage operational tasks such as staff scheduling, payroll accuracy, inventory control, receiving and stock replenishment.
  • Coach, hire and develop store team members through performance reviews, training plans and on-the-floor mentoring.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures and loss-prevention protocols; ensure safe opening/closing procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in premium or luxury retail environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop retail teams to improve sales performance and client experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience meeting or exceeding sales KPIs and managing store economics.
  • Reliable organizational skills with experience in scheduling, inventory oversight and basic payroll processes.
  • Professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills appropriate to a luxury brand.
