Coach is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Natick, Massachusetts to lead sales, develop the team and ensure operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Store Manager to drive sales performance through forecasting, category planning, KPI monitoring and tactical execution of initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and serve as an in-store brand ambassador; resolve guest issues promptly while upholding Coach service standards.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach and develop store team members to build a resilient talent pipeline and a collaborative store culture.
  • Execute omni-channel and digital engagement programs, including virtual shopping, clienteling, customer data acquisition and leveraging social media trends to enhance sales.
  • Ensure operational excellence: maintain compliance with company policies, scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention and visual merchandising standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, store safety and stockroom operations; perform regular physical tasks required for retail floor and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with district and corporate leadership to interpret market trends, shape store strategies and contribute insights to cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury/fashion retail experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams to exceed performance standards and sales targets.
  • Demonstrated strong customer focus and ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail systems; working knowledge of omni-channel services and clienteling strategies.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and to bend, climb and maneuver throughout the store.
  • A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

Experience

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
