Coach Assistant Store Manager in Mirabel, Quebec — lead retail sales, operations and team development for the Coach store at Montreal Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in delivering and exceeding sales targets through forecasting, weekly planning and execution of category initiatives; monitor KPIs and adapt tactics to drive results.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to ensure exceptional client service and consistent adherence to Coach service standards; act as a visible brand ambassador in-store and in the local community.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop store team members; build a collaborative culture and a pipeline of talent aligned with the brand vision.
- Advance omni‑channel retailing by supporting virtual shopping, clienteling, and customer data capture; leverage social media trends to enhance client engagement.
- Ensure operational excellence across scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, vendor relations and compliance with company policies and visual merchandising standards.
- Partner with district and corporate leadership to interpret local market trends, inform store strategy and contribute insights to cross‑functional projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury/fashion retail experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail systems; working knowledge of clienteling and omni‑channel services.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Capacity to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and to climb, bend and kneel as required.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail or service environments; prior experience in luxury or fashion retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Workplace
This position is based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, within easy reach of Montreal.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 27 to CAD 32 per hour.
