Coach Assistant Store Manager

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through forecasting, planning and execution of category initiatives; monitor KPIs and adapt strategies to optimise performance.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to deliver Coach service standards; act as a brand ambassador and resolve customer issues promptly to preserve client loyalty.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop store team members; cultivate a collaborative culture and a robust internal talent pipeline aligned with brand values.
- Drive omni‑channel selling and digital engagement, including virtual shopping, clienteling and customer data acquisition; leverage social media trends to enhance in-store experiences.
- Ensure operational excellence across scheduling, payroll, HR processes, compliance, loss prevention, visual merchandising and vendor relations.
- Collaborate with district and corporate leadership to interpret market trends, share local insights and contribute to cross‑functional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service environments; luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong customer focus with excellent communication, problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail systems; practical knowledge of clienteling and omni‑channel retail services.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; able to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
- Strong English language proficiency.

Experience
At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in retail or a customer‑facing service industry; prior experience in luxury or fashion retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary coursework or formal training in retail management, business or a related field is advantageous but not required—a combination of education and demonstrated retail experience will be considered.
