Coach seeks an Acting Lead Supervisor II in Indianapolis for part-time retail management role, $16–$24.75/hr, with supervision, sales, and store operations responsibilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor sales associates; provide coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Oversee daily sales floor operations, inventory management, and stockroom organization
- Execute visual merchandising guidelines and maintain store presentation standards
- Drive sales performance and achievement of store targets
- Ensure exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Maintain compliance with company policies, labor laws, and health and safety standards
- Conduct opening and closing procedures; manage cash handling and reconciliation
- Train staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement protocols
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or team lead experience in retail or hospitality
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate sales teams
- Strong operational and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of retail operations, POS systems, and inventory management
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 25 lbs. regularly; capacity to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in fashion or luxury goods. Prior experience managing teams, driving sales metrics, and maintaining store operations is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail management certification or equivalent professional development experience is preferred.
