Coach is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Guiyang, China to lead boutique operations, sales and client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in all aspects of boutique operations including daily opening/closing procedures, cash handling and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Drive and exceed sales targets through active selling, coaching and front-line leadership of the sales team.
  • Develop and sustain long-term client relationships through effective clienteling and personalised service.
  • Lead visual merchandising implementation and ensure store presentation meets brand standards.
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment and cycle counts to optimise availability and minimise shrink.
  • Recruit, train and develop sales staff, conducting performance reviews and delivering ongoing skills coaching.
  • Analyse sales metrics and KPIs to prepare actionable plans for traffic conversion, average transaction value and margin improvement.
  • Act as the Store Manager’s delegate in their absence, ensuring continuity of leadership and operational standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior sales role; experience with premium or luxury brands preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead, motivate and develop a sales team in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience using sales reports and KPIs to drive performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills; ability to cultivate repeat clientele.
  • High integrity with a proactive approach to loss prevention and operational compliance.

Experience
