Coach seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Gretna, Nebraska to drive luxury retail sales, team leadership, and operational excellence with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance and strategy by supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales goals through forecasting, planning, and implementing category initiatives; monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to optimize results
- Deliver exceptional customer service and brand ambassadorship by creating an inclusive, high-energy environment that meets Coach Service standards; resolve customer issues promptly and represent the brand authentically in-store and in the community
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor team members; foster a collaborative culture that builds a strong talent pipeline aligned with Coach's brand vision and values
- Execute omni-channel and digital engagement strategies by supporting virtual shopping, clienteling initiatives, and customer data acquisition; leverage social media trends and digital tools to enhance the customer experience
- Ensure operational excellence by overseeing compliance with policies, scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, visual merchandising standards, store safety, and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with district and corporate leadership to interpret market trends, shape store strategies, and share insights that drive cross-functional projects and organizational alignment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion background preferred
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards
- Strong customer focus with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems; knowledge of omni-channel services and clienteling strategies
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally); capacity to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, peak busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days (including public holidays)

Experience
A combination of education and equivalent experience will be considered. Leadership experience in retail or service-oriented industries is essential, with a preference for candidates with exposure to luxury or fashion retail environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is typically required; associate degree or higher is preferred. A combination of equivalent professional experience and educational background will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 29 per hour.
