Coach Assistant Store Manager position in Folsom, California. Lead retail operations, drive sales, and develop teams for this full-time luxury fashion retail role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through forecasting, planning, and implementing category initiatives while monitoring key performance indicators and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Create an inclusive, high-energy store environment that meets Coach service standards and brand expectations; resolve customer issues promptly and serve as a brand ambassador both in-store and within the community
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop team members; foster a collaborative culture and build a strong talent pipeline aligned with brand vision and strategic objectives
  • Support omni-channel engagement initiatives including virtual shopping, clienteling programs, and customer data acquisition; leverage social media trends to enhance the customer experience
  • Oversee compliance with company policies, scheduling, payroll, and human resources processes; ensure adherence to loss prevention protocols and visual merchandising standards
  • Maintain store safety standards, manage vendor relationships, and partner with leadership to interpret market trends and drive cross-functional projects

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion background preferred
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale systems
  • Knowledge of omni-channel services and clienteling strategies
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
