Coach Assistant Store Manager

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager to achieve sales targets through forecasting, planning and execution of category and promotional initiatives; monitor KPIs and adapt strategies to optimise performance.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to deliver Coach service standards and an elevated, inclusive customer experience; resolve customer issues and act as a local brand ambassador.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop store team members; create a collaborative environment and maintain a talent pipeline aligned with brand objectives.
- Drive omni‑channel engagement including virtual shopping, clienteling and customer data capture to deepen client relationships and grow sales.
- Oversee operational compliance including scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, vendor relations and visual merchandising standards to ensure store excellence and safety.
- Collaborate with district and corporate leadership to interpret market trends, share insights and contribute to cross‑functional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to motivate teams and deliver measurable performance improvements.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with retail systems, omni‑channel services and clienteling strategies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience in retail or a customer‑facing service role; prior experience within luxury or fashion retail is preferred and will be viewed as an asset.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business, fashion retail or related fields or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
