Coach in Destin, FL is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead teams and ensure operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through forecasting, category planning and KPI monitoring; adapt strategies in response to performance and market signals.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to deliver Coach service standards; resolve customer issues promptly and act as a brand ambassador in-store and within the community.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop store team members; build a collaborative culture and maintain a robust talent pipeline aligned with brand expectations.
- Execute omni-channel initiatives including virtual shopping, clienteling and customer data acquisition to strengthen digital-to-store conversion.
- Oversee operational compliance: scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, inventory control, vendor relations and visual merchandising standards.
- Partner with district and corporate teams to interpret market trends, share local insights and contribute to cross-functional store strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to motivate teams to exceed performance standards and to build effective working relationships.
- Strong customer focus with demonstrated problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail systems; familiarity with omni-channel retailing and clienteling strategies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver sales floor and stockroom safely.
- Strong English language proficiency.
Skills
Experience
At least 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail or customer service environments; prior luxury or fashion retail experience preferred. A combination of relevant education and practical experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred—combination of education and experience accepted.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
