Coach is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Cypress, Texas. Drive retail sales, lead teams and deliver exceptional customer service for Coach in Houston area.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager to achieve sales targets through forecasting, planning and implementation of category and promotional initiatives; monitor KPIs and adjust in-store tactics.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to deliver Coach service standards and an exceptional, inclusive customer experience.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop store team members; cultivate a collaborative culture and build a talent pipeline aligned with brand vision.
- Execute omni-channel strategies including virtual shopping, clienteling and customer data capture to drive conversion and lifetime value.
- Oversee operational compliance: scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, vendor relationships and visual merchandising standards.
- Partner with district and corporate leadership to interpret market trends, inform store strategy and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
- Maintain physical readiness for retail operations, including regular lifting (25 lbs) and occasional heavier loads (up to 50 lbs), and work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury/fashion retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards and KPIs.
- Strong customer focus with demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues and uphold brand service standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail systems; familiarity with omni-channel services and clienteling strategies.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends and peak seasons.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience within retail or a customer-focused service environment; prior luxury or fashion retail experience is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; combination of education and retail leadership experience will be considered. Postsecondary coursework or retail management training is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 18.50 to USD 31.50 per hour.
