Coach Assistant Store Manager in Boise, Idaho — lead retail sales, team development and omnichannel operations for the Tapestry brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager to achieve sales targets through forecasting, planning and execution of category and promotional initiatives; monitor KPIs and adapt tactics accordingly.
  • Deliver exceptional, inclusive customer service on the sales floor; manage guest recovery and act as a visible brand ambassador in-store and within the community.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach and develop store team members; build a collaborative culture and maintain a talent pipeline aligned with the brand’s vision.
  • Execute omni-channel and digital engagement initiatives including virtual shopping, clienteling and customer data acquisition; leverage social media and digital trends to enhance the guest experience.
  • Oversee store operations including scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, vendor coordination and adherence to visual merchandising and safety standards.
  • Partner with district and corporate leadership to interpret local market trends, shape store strategies and contribute insights to cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury/fashion experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to inspire, motivate and coach teams to exceed performance expectations.
  • Strong customer focus with the capacity to perform in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail systems; familiarity with clienteling and omni-channel retail tools.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom.
