Coach is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Atlanta, GA (Ponce City Market). Lead sales, clienteling and store operations for a global luxury brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager to deliver and exceed sales targets through forecasting, category planning, KPI monitoring and tactical execution.
- Lead by example on the sales floor to deliver Coach service standards, resolve complex customer issues, and act as a visible brand ambassador in-store and in the local community.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop retail staff to build a high-performing, collaborative team and a robust talent pipeline aligned with brand objectives.
- Drive omni-channel engagement by supporting virtual shopping, clienteling, customer data capture and integrating digital trends to enhance the customer experience.
- Oversee daily store operations including scheduling, payroll administration, HR processes, loss prevention, vendor relations and compliance with safety and merchandising standards.
- Partner with district and corporate teams to interpret market trends, share insights and implement cross-functional initiatives that advance store performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in retail or customer‑service environments; luxury or fashion retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop teams to exceed performance objectives.
- Strong customer orientation with proven problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common retail systems; working knowledge of omni‑channel services and clienteling approaches.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Skills
Experience
At least 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience in retail or service industries; prior experience in luxury or fashion retail strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; a combination of related education and retail leadership experience will be considered. Post‑secondary coursework or a degree in business, fashion merchandising or a related field is advantageous.
