Coach Assistant Store Leader
Coach is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in New York, NY to lead boutique sales, coach a luxury retail team, and deliver exceptional client service.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, margin goals and other store KPIs through day-to-day leadership and coaching.
- Lead, coach and develop sales associates to deliver a best-in-class luxury client experience and build repeat clientele through clienteling and CRM practices.
- Execute visual merchandising standards and ensure the boutique presentation reflects brand guidelines and seasonal directives.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, transfers and loss-prevention procedures to safeguard merchandise and minimize shrink.
- Create staffing schedules, oversee payroll controls and assist with recruitment, onboarding and performance reviews.
- Operate POS, perform cash handling and reconciliation, and support store opening/closing procedures and operational audits.
- Address and resolve client escalations promptly and maintain a culture of discretion and service recovery.
- Prepare and analyze daily/weekly sales reports, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to maximize sales performance.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in a retail environment with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong clienteling and customer-service orientation with ability to cultivate long-term client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills; capable of motivating diverse teams.
- Analytical aptitude for sales reporting, stock management and basic financial controls.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and holidays; reliable and professional presence in-store.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of retail experience, preferably in luxury or premium fashion, including at least one year in a supervisory or team-lead capacity with measurable sales and coaching outcomes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred.
