Coach seeks an Architecture Coordinator in New York to manage retail design and construction projects. Tapestry brand; full‑time opportunity.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end architectural and store‑fit projects across design, permitting, procurement and construction to ensure timely delivery of retail openings and remodels.
- Review and manage construction documentation, drawings and specifications to guarantee compliance with brand standards and local building codes.
- Liaise with cross‑functional stakeholders (real estate, visual merchandising, operations, procurement) and external consultants (architects, engineers, contractors) to resolve design and site issues.
- Monitor project schedules and budgets; prepare status reports, change‑order documentation and monthly cost tracking.
- Conduct site visits and inspections, maintain punch‑lists, and oversee defect remediation through project closeout.
- Maintain organised project folders, drawings, as‑built records and permitting documentation; ensure consistent version control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience coordinating architectural or construction projects—preferably within retail, hospitality or luxury brand environments.
- Working knowledge of local permitting and code compliance processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, track budgets and produce clear project documentation.

Experience
Typically requires 3–5 years of progressive experience in architectural coordination, construction administration or project management; prior exposure to retail store rollouts, remodels or luxury brand standards strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management or equivalent professional qualification.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to USD 75,000 per annum.
