Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily store operations in the absence of the permanent lead, ensuring service standards, visual presentation and merchandising align with brand directives.
  • Coach, mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and store KPIs, including sales targets, conversion and average transaction value.
  • Manage workforce planning: create schedules, approve time-off requests and ensure adequate staffing for peak trading hours and events.
  • Oversee clienteling activities and VIP client service, drive retention initiatives and ensure follow-up on client communications.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through receiving, stock counts, shrinkage control and adherence to loss-prevention procedures.
  • Resolve complex customer enquiries and escalations, applying brand-appropriate conflict resolution and recovery techniques.
  • Execute promotional rollouts and visual merchandising resets; ensure shop floor standards meet operational and brand expectations.
  • Prepare and submit routine operational reports, cash reconciliations and exception logs to district management.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience in luxury or premium retail, with demonstrable sales leadership and coaching outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience meeting or exceeding sales KPIs and managing schedules and stock processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished client-service orientation appropriate to a luxury brand.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
  • Authorization to work in the United States (if applicable to location).

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity within a luxury, premium or high-volume apparel/accessories environment. Demonstrated track record of driving sales, coaching teams and managing store-level operations.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary study in retail management, merchandising or a related discipline preferred.
