Coach Acting Lead Supervisor

Role & Responsibilities
- Act as on-shift store leader: direct sales floor activity, prioritize tasks, and make operational decisions in the absence of the store manager.
- Coach, develop and provide actionable feedback to sales associates to improve performance, service and product knowledge.
- Drive sales and KPIs through active selling, client engagement, and by modelling best-in-class customer service.
- Own day-to-day store operations including visual presentation, inventory control, stockroom processes, cash handling and loss-prevention procedures.
- Create and manage team schedules, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate floor coverage during peak periods.
- Train and onboard new hires; assign responsibilities and follow up on development plans for direct reports.
- Resolve client escalations and complex service issues with diplomacy, ensuring client retention and satisfaction.
- Uphold and model company competencies (Courage, Creativity, Customer Focus, Drive for Results, Interpersonal Savvy) and ensure the team does the same.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated retail supervisory or lead experience, preferably in specialty or luxury fashion retail.
- Proven ability to coach and develop direct reports and to deliver measurable sales results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of providing candid, constructive feedback.
- Capable of performing physical tasks required by the role: regularly lift at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre between sales floor and stockroom.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Experience
Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity; experience in luxury or specialty retail is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in retail management, business or a related field is advantageous.

Compensation
