Role & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day leadership on the sales floor, coaching and motivating sales associates to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Drive exceptional customer experiences and clienteling to increase conversion, average transaction value and repeat business.
- Manage visual merchandising, floor standards and product presentation to brand guidelines.
- Oversee inventory flow, stockroom organisation, receiving and loss-prevention procedures.
- Conduct on-the-job training, deliver performance feedback and support development plans for direct reports.
- Assist with store opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS operations and compliance with company policies.
- Step in for the store manager as required to ensure operational continuity and execution of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; able to climb, bend and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Proven leadership capability with strong coaching and people-development focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, changing retail environment and to drive results.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of two years of retail experience, including at least one year in a supervisory or lead role; experience in premium or luxury retail preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional retail management coursework or associate degree preferred.
