As a Skincare Consultant for Clinique and Dr Jart at Sephora, the successful candidate will leverage creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized, educational in-store experiences that delight customers. The role encompasses makeup application and skincare consultation, visual merchandising excellence, and participation in high-impact in-store events as part of a dynamic retail team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide personalized skincare and makeup consultation to customers, combining creative and technical expertise with authentic engagement
• Apply makeup artistry skills to deliver inspirational, transformative customer experiences in-store
• Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards to differentiate the brand against competitors
• Participate in high-performing team initiatives and in-store events to drive customer acquisition and brand impact
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently during transactions
• Work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events to serve customer demand

Qualifications

• Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience preferred; amateur-level experience considered if demonstrating high creative and technical expertise
• Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Competence with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment

Skills

Experience

While certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is desirable, applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are welcome to apply.

Education

Formal makeup artistry certification or professional training is preferred but not required.
