A makeup consultant role at Clinique's Lakeside location (Marks & Spencer counter), combining creative expertise and technical knowledge to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store beauty consultations. The position requires engagement in visual merchandising, in-store events, and point-of-sale operations while maintaining prestige beauty standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized makeup consultations and applications to customers, educating them on product benefits and skincare routines
• Execute in-store visual merchandising displays and participate in promotional events to drive customer engagement and sales
• Operate retail point-of-sale software and process transactions accurately during assigned shifts
• Maintain store presentation standards and ensure stock levels are optimal throughout the day
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and support counter performance

Qualifications

• Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical expertise in makeup application and color theory
• Proven ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Proficiency with retail point-of-sale systems
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
