A part-time makeup artist consultant for Clinique at a premium department store location, responsible for delivering personalized, inspirational in-store beauty consultations and makeovers. The role combines creative technical expertise with customer engagement, in-store event execution, and visual merchandising excellence to elevate the brand presence within a high-performing team environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide personalized makeup artistry services and beauty consultations to customers, combining creative expertise with technical proficiency
• Deliver an exceptional, welcoming, and inspirational in-store experience that educates and delights customers
• Participate in in-store events and promotional activities to create brand impact and drive customer engagement
• Maintain and elevate visual merchandising standards to ensure the Clinique counter stands out competitively
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems and process customer transactions accurately
• Work collaboratively within a high-performing team to achieve departmental targets and standards

Qualifications

• Certification in makeup artistry and/or previous retail makeup experience preferred
• Demonstrated high level of creative and technical makeup expertise
• Proven ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

While professional certification or previous retail makeup experience is desirable, candidates with amateur-level makeup experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are also welcome to apply.

Education

Qualification in makeup artistry or professional makeup certification preferred; not required.
