A part-time Beauty Advisor position with Clinique at Boots Monks Cross in York. The role combines creative and technical makeup expertise with personalized customer service, providing in-store consultations and product demonstrations. The successful candidate will contribute to in-store events, maintain visual merchandising standards, and deliver an inspirational retail experience, supported by comprehensive training and development within Estée Lauder Companies' prestige beauty portfolio.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide personalized makeup consultations and in-store demonstrations to deliver an inspirational and welcoming customer experience
• Create and execute in-store events and promotions to drive engagement and sales within a high-performing team environment
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and product displays to ensure competitive positioning
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently
• Build authentic customer relationships through product education and consultative selling
• Support the store in achieving performance targets and brand standards

Qualifications

• Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical makeup expertise
• Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Capability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Skills

Experience

While formal makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred, applicants with amateur-level makeup expertise who can demonstrate creative and technical proficiency are encouraged to apply. Retail point-of-sale experience is advantageous.

Education

No formal educational requirements specified; however, certification in makeup artistry or cosmetology is preferred.
