Clinique, the leading authority in active dermatology built on 55+ years of research, seeks an ambitious Counter Manager to lead its Boots Huddersfield counter. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing dermatologist-guided skincare and makeup solutions, executing in-store events, and managing sales, operational, and customer service targets whilst maintaining a client-centric approach. This full-time role operates 30 hours per week across 5 days.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the Clinique counter and drive sales performance whilst maintaining operational excellence
- Provide personalised skincare and makeup consultations based on individual client diagnostics and goals
- Create and execute in-store promotional events and campaigns
- Manage customer service delivery standards and ensure team compliance
- Monitor inventory, merchandising, and visual displays
- Mentor and develop team members to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Achieve customer service, sales, and operational targets
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or retail management experience in the beauty or customer service sector
- Demonstrated passion for skincare, dermatology, and beauty products
- Strong ability to diagnose client skin types and recommend custom-fit skincare routines
- Proven track record of creating and executing successful in-store events
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
Skills
Experience
Previous supervisory experience in a retail or customer service environment, ideally within beauty or prestige skincare. Demonstrated success in point-of-sale management and client relationship building.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; beauty or skincare certification or training is advantageous.
