Clinique Counter Lead at Boots Blackpool – 30 hours per week. Drive sales and deliver brand excellence in luxury beauty retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales turnover and market share through consumer-focused retail strategies and selling excellence
- Reflect a credible and professional brand image at all times to internal and external consumers
- Achieve and exceed daily and weekly sales targets utilising all available sales channels including events, omnichannel and digital platforms
- Deliver brand strategy and local marketing initiatives aligned with retailer activity
- Monitor competitor activities and capitalise on missed market opportunities
- Manage social media effectively to drive business growth and protect brand image
- Ensure zero-complaint service standards through continuous visible improvement and a 'surprise and delight' culture
- Lead brand ambassadorship and ensure brand values are represented and brought to life
- Manage refunds and complaints in line with company guidelines to mutually satisfactory resolution
- Develop and execute consumer recruitment and retention strategies to build a loyal customer base
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to deliver industry-leading consumer experience
- Plan and deliver excellent retail standards daily including product quality, housekeeping, displays, messaging and pricing
- Review retail standards on a daily basis ensuring consistent maintenance to required standards
- Ensure deliveries, stock movements and associated administration are completed within agreed timeframes
- Execute all auditable processes and administration according to company guidelines and take corrective action on risk areas
- Implement company security policies and minimise stock loss
- Create and maintain a safe working environment for consumers and staff adhering to all health and safety policies
- Manage daily replenishment and optimise commercial decisions using sales reports
- Plan and execute visual merchandising layouts according to guidelines and timescales
- Identify and address stock package issues, escalating to Area Manager when necessary
- Manage all promotions and discounts in line with company guidelines
- Identify product trends and suggest enhancements to drive performance

- Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment
- Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry
- Effective communication, organisation and prioritisation skills
- Ability to drive self-development

Qualifications in retail management or equivalent practical experience preferred.
