A part-time makeup artist role within the prestigious Clinique brand at Estée Lauder. The position combines creative expertise and technical proficiency to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences that educate and delight customers. The successful candidate will participate in high-performing team initiatives, execute in-store events, and maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards whilst working retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized makeup artistry services and consultations to customers
- Deliver inspirational and authentic customer service whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism
- Create and execute in-store beauty events and promotional activities
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to differentiate the counter against competitors
- Operate retail point-of-sale systems and process transactions
- Work collaboratively within a high-performing in-store team
- Educate customers on product benefits, application techniques, and skincare routines
Qualifications
- Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience (preferred)
- Ability to demonstrate high-level creative and technical expertise
- Proven capability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Availability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Prior experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
Skills
Experience
While certification in makeup artistry and retail makeup experience is preferred, applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are also welcomed.
Education
Qualification in makeup artistry is desirable but not required. Applicants with amateur-level experience are encouraged to apply.
