The Clinique Assistant Manager at Boots Metro serves as a Counter Lead responsible for driving sales turnover and market share whilst maintaining unwavering consumer focus. The role encompasses sales excellence, retail operations, and commercial strategy execution, requiring the individual to project a credible brand image, maximize sales through superior service delivery, and implement brand strategy locally. Key responsibilities include managing daily performance targets, leveraging omnichannel opportunities, executing visual merchandising, maintaining retail standards, and fostering a customer delight culture whilst adhering to company security and health and safety policies.

Role & Responsibilities

• Drive sales turnover and market share while maintaining a consumer-focused approach
• Maintain and project a credible, professional brand image to all internal and external stakeholders
• Maximize sales through expert selling techniques and exceptional service delivery aligned with retail standards
• Monitor daily and weekly sales targets and commercial performance metrics
• Identify and capitalize on additional sales avenues including events, omnichannel initiatives, and digital channels
• Track competitor activities and market opportunities to inform strategic decisions
• Leverage social media platforms to drive business growth while protecting and enhancing brand reputation
• Execute brand strategy locally and implement coordinated marketing and event initiatives in alignment with retailer activity
• Establish and maintain excellence in service execution, implementing measures to continuously improve service levels and foster a customer delight culture
• Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying and communicating brand values across all touchpoints
• Manage refunds and complaints professionally in accordance with company guidelines, escalating to the Area Manager when necessary
• Maintain current product knowledge using digital tools to ensure industry-leading customer experiences
• Develop and execute consumer recruitment and retention strategies to cultivate brand loyalty
• Execute visual merchandising layouts according to guidelines and timelines
• Manage daily stock replenishment and identify package issues, taking corrective action as needed
• Maintain retail standards across product presentation, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing on a daily basis
• Oversee delivery, stock movements, and associated administration within agreed company timeframes
• Ensure all auditable processes and administrative procedures comply with company guidelines
• Minimize stock loss through rigorous implementation of company security policies
• Create and maintain a safe working environment for customers and staff, adhering to company and retailer policies
• Achieve minimum 'Acceptable' grading during health and safety audits
