This on-call freelance position at a prestige beauty retailer (Clinique) involves delivering personalized customer service and beauty consultations in a dynamic retail environment. The role combines creative expertise and customer engagement to provide inspirational in-store experiences, execute visual merchandising displays, and support promotional events while maintaining extensive product knowledge of skincare and cosmetic offerings.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
• Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States upon hire/interview
• Previous retail or beauty industry experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution (preferred)

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
