Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations tailored to individual customer needs and skin concerns
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across the retail floor to ensure competitive market positioning
- Support and execute in-store promotional events, product demonstrations, and educational workshops to drive customer engagement and sales
- Maintain active, current knowledge of Clinique product offerings, ingredient benefits, and application techniques to effectively educate and inspire customers
- Collaborate with store leadership and team members to ensure seamless floor operations, optimal customer experience, and achievement of retail targets during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service in a retail or hospitality setting
- Legal authorization to work in the United States with ability to provide proof upon hire
- Flexibility to work varying retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special promotional events
- Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach and bend regularly, and handle merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in retail, beauty, cosmetics, or customer-facing service roles is preferred. Familiarity with prestige beauty brands, skincare consultation, or luxury retail environments is advantageous but not required. Retail sales environment and customer service execution experience strengthens candidacy.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; beauty certification, cosmetology license, or specialized beauty training is not required but may be advantageous.
