Clinique is recruiting a freelance Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations in a prestige retail environment. The role combines creative and technical expertise with customer engagement to provide an inspirational in-store experience, execute visual merchandising standards, and support promotional events and product demonstrations. This position is staffed through Randstad Sourceright at Estée Lauder Companies retail locations in Rockville, Maryland.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers with authentic engagement
- Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor to compete effectively in market
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement and sales
- Maintain active knowledge of Clinique brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the retail sales floor
- Ability to reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
Skills
Experience
Preferred previous retail or beauty industry experience and familiarity with retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution.
