Clinique seeks a skilled Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized in-store consultations and create an inspirational retail experience at its Novi, Michigan location. The role combines creative and technical expertise to educate customers on skincare and makeup applications, execute visual merchandising displays, and support promotional events. Operating on a freelance basis through Randstad, the advisor will collaborate with store teams to maintain high merchandising standards and drive customer engagement in a dynamic, fast-paced beauty retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality beauty consultations and customer service to in-store clients
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Clinique product offerings, features, and application techniques
• Collaborate with store staff to ensure optimal customer experience and smooth floor operations during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Previous retail or beauty industry experience preferred

Skills

Experience

Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service in a retail or beauty environment; familiarity with retail sales execution and customer-facing service delivery.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional beauty or cosmetics training is advantageous but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
