A highly skilled makeup artist position with Clinique combining creative and technical expertise to deliver personalized, consultative in-store experiences. The role encompasses makeup application, client education, visual merchandising coordination, and in-store event execution within a high-performing retail team environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide consultative makeup artistry services and personalized beauty advice to customers
• Execute in-store makeup applications with technical precision and creative vision
• Collaborate with the store team to coordinate and execute in-store beauty events and campaigns
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and product displays to ensure competitive market positioning
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems and manage customer transactions
• Educate customers on product benefits, application techniques, and skincare solutions

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high-level creative and technical makeup expertise (professional certification or previous retail makeup experience preferred)
• Ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Capability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Skills

Experience

Makeup artistry qualification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; however, applicants demonstrating amateur-level experience with strong creative and technical expertise are also welcomed.

Education

Makeup artistry certification or equivalent professional qualification preferred but not required.
