Clinique seeks a creative and skilled Beauty Advisor/Makeup Artist to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store experiences for customers at its Brown Thomas Dundrum location. The role combines makeup application expertise with product knowledge and customer engagement, supported by active participation in in-store events and visual merchandising excellence. This part-time position (10 hours per week) offers a pathway into prestige beauty retail, welcoming applicants ranging from certified makeup artists to enthusiastic individuals with amateur-level experience and strong creative potential.
Role & Responsibilities
- Apply makeup artistry techniques to create personalized looks for customers, educating them on product application and product benefits
- Deliver inspirational and authentic customer service experiences that build brand loyalty and drive sales
- Execute point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently using retail management systems
- Participate actively in in-store events, promotions, and merchandising initiatives to maximize customer engagement
- Maintain visual merchandising standards throughout the beauty counter to ensure brand presentation excellence
- Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve departmental sales targets and operational objectives
Qualifications
- Qualification in makeup artistry or demonstrated retail makeup experience (preferred but not required)
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Competency with retail point-of-sale software and systems
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events
- Proof of right to live and work in Ireland
- Creative and technical expertise in makeup application and color theory
