A part-time Beauty Advisor for Clinique at a Boots location in Maidstone will deliver personalized in-store experiences through expert makeup application and product education. The role combines creative artistry with customer engagement, encompassing counter sales, makeup demonstrations, in-store event coordination, and visual merchandising excellence to drive brand loyalty and sales performance within a prestige beauty environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Apply makeup expertly and educate customers on Clinique products and techniques to drive personalized purchasing decisions
• Deliver inspirational and authentic customer service experiences tailored to individual skincare and makeup needs
• Execute in-store promotional events and visual merchandising displays to elevate brand presence and drive foot traffic
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems and maintain accurate transaction records
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and product knowledge consistent with Clinique brand positioning
• Work collaboratively within the beauty counter team to achieve sales targets and store performance goals

Qualifications

• Certification in makeup artistry or proven retail makeup counter experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to demonstrate creative and technical makeup expertise, including both professional and amateur-level applicants welcome
• Proven capability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Flexibility to work retail hours including daytime, evening, weekend, and special event shifts in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom with valid documentation

Experience
