This on-call freelance position at Clinique retail counters offers the opportunity to deliver personalized skincare and beauty consultations in a prestige retail environment. The successful candidate will combine product expertise with exceptional customer service to educate clients on Clinique's skincare philosophy and techniques, execute visual merchandising standards, and support promotional events and product demonstrations. Working within a high-performing team at The Estée Lauder Companies retail locations, this role requires flexibility across retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
- Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
- Maintain active knowledge of Clinique brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach, bend, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred but not required; demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
