Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized in-store beauty consultations and makeovers using creative and technical expertise to educate and delight customers
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a welcoming and inspirational manner, emphasizing authentic engagement and personalized recommendations
- Achieve and maintain high standards of visual merchandising throughout the counter to differentiate the boutique from competitors
- Collaborate with the store team to execute in-store events and promotional activities that drive customer engagement and sales impact
- Process customer transactions using retail point-of-sale software and maintain accurate records
- Work flexibly across retail hours, including daytime, evening, weekend, and special event shifts in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Certification or qualification in makeup artistry, or demonstrated amateur-level experience with strong creative and technical expertise
- Proven ability to deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Flexibility to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
- Prior experience with retail point-of-sale (POS) software systems
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom
Skills
Experience
Certification in makeup artistry and/or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; however, applicants with amateur-level experience who can demonstrate strong creative and technical expertise are welcome to apply.
Education
Certification or qualification in makeup artistry or cosmetology is preferred but not required.
