Clinique seeks a Beauty Advisor for freelance, on-call assignment at its Champaign, IL retail location. In this customer-facing role, the successful candidate will deliver personalized beauty consultations, execute visual merchandising displays, and support in-store promotional events and product demonstrations. The advisor will maintain active product knowledge and collaborate with team members to ensure optimal customer experience during assigned shifts in a dynamic retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor
• Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
• Maintain active knowledge of Clinique product offerings, features, and application techniques to educate customers effectively
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Legal work authorization in the United States
• Previous retail or beauty industry experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution (preferred)

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21.60 to USD 32.40 per hour.
