Clinique seeks a skilled Beauty Advisor for freelance assignments at its Canton, Michigan retail location. This role combines creative expertise and passion for customer engagement to deliver personalized, inspirational in-store beauty consultations and experiences. The successful candidate will execute visual merchandising displays, support in-store promotional events, and maintain comprehensive product knowledge while collaborating with store teams to ensure optimal customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality beauty consultations and skincare advice to in-store customers
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising displays and presentation standards across the retail floor
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement
- Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, application techniques, and skincare science to educate customers effectively
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and exceptional customer experience during assigned shifts
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Previous retail or beauty industry experience
- Familiarity with retail sales environment and customer-facing service execution
