Clarins is seeking a Spa Receptionist in Dartford, working 23.1 hours per week. The role delivers a premium client welcome, manages bookings and therapist diaries, supports retention and sales, and maintains accurate client records and operational standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome all clients professionally and provide a premium Clarins greeting.
  • Proactively introduce customers to Clarins services, treatments and products.
  • Manage customer enquiries and objections confidently, supporting a seamless spa experience.
  • Help recruit new customers and retain or reactivate regular clients.
  • Manage treatment bookings and therapist schedules efficiently to support smooth daily operations.
  • Oversee appointment diaries to maximise treatment-room occupancy and therapist availability.
  • Monitor online bookings proactively, ensuring effective scheduling and resolving booking conflicts or gaps.
  • Organise follow-ups and manage rebooking to support client loyalty and repeat visits.
  • Build strong knowledge of Clarins products and services to respond to client enquiries and recommend suitable treatments or products.
  • Represent Clarins values through excellent grooming, communication and customer care.
  • Monitor competitor activity and share relevant observations with the Spa team to support brand positioning and customer experience.
  • Encourage customer engagement with Clarins social media campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Share weekly observations on client activity, identify opportunities to increase bookings or product sales, and flag challenges to the Business Manager.
  • Encourage treatment rebooking and repeat visits to support client retention and occupancy.
  • Introduce customers to treatment upgrades, add-on services and relevant retail products to enhance their experience.
  • Support therapists by identifying opportunities to recommend products or treatments based on client needs and preferences.
  • Help organise and promote in-spa events, launches and seasonal activities to increase bookings and sales.
  • Monitor treatment and retail KPIs and support the team in achieving daily targets through excellent customer service.
  • Use digital tools, including C-Link, accurately to capture client data and support business growth and targeted follow-ups.
  • Maintain current knowledge of GDPR compliance and follow the escalation process when required.
  • Maintain accurate customer data using internal digital tools, including C-Link and Booxi, in accordance with GDPR guidelines.
  • Follow retail operational guidelines, including risk assessment and health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards and a professional image aligned with the brand.
