Clarins seeks a Senior Accountant in Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland to manage multi-entity accounting operations, cash reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain complete accounting records for FACTOFINANCE and CLARINS entities under Workday, coordinating with treasury and accounting teams
- Record monthly closing entries and validate monthly payroll accruals
- Prepare and reconcile inter-company provisions and enter consolidation data in HFM
- Review monthly balance sheets, calculate tax provisions, and validate payment batches in Workday and DIAPASON
- Establish monthly cash position reports, cash-flow projections, and working capital variance analyses
- Record monthly consolidation reporting (cash, inter-company payables, balance sheet) in HFM
- Analyze foreign exchange results in collaboration with the treasury function
- Manage IFRS 16 lease contracts using Viareport
- Oversee capital expenditure entries in Workday for two Swiss entities
- Prepare and reconcile quarterly Swiss VAT declarations
- Support budget tracking and financial analyses across related departments
Qualifications
- Formal qualification in accounting (Swiss Federal Diploma or equivalent)
- Confirmed experience in a similar accounting role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software platforms
- Strong knowledge of VAT and fiscal regulations
- Proficiency with Workday, HFM, and treasury management systems preferred
- Fluent in French and English
