Clarins Product Owner, Application Development

Role & Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the product vision for the ICM Application domain, ensuring functional and applicative coherence across the portfolio
• Identify and analyze user requirements from business, support, and operations teams to inform strategic priorities
• Prioritize product enhancements based on business value and operational impact; maintain alignment between business objectives, technical constraints, and IT strategy
• Monitor budgets for run and build activities across the application portfolio; enforce group IT standards
• Write, maintain, and refine user stories; prioritize and manage the backlog in collaboration with business teams through scoring sessions and requirements validation
• Conduct backlog refinement sessions with technical teams to prepare for development iterations
• Manage all project phases and coordinate across multiple teams; validate deliverables against requirements before production deployment
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business units; provide level-one support for applications within the remit
• Track ticket resolution and service-level agreements; organize and lead RUN monitoring meetings with business stakeholders
• Monitor application usage and performance KPIs; identify improvement opportunities and contribute to internal process optimization
• Measure user satisfaction through surveys and post-implementation reviews; establish and test Disaster Recovery Plans (PRA) and work with business units on Business Continuity Plans (PCA)
• Gather and analyze user needs through structured workshops and design sessions with integration partners
• Communicate regularly on product progress and roadmap development; define roadmaps collaboratively with business and other IT divisions
• Collaborate with other IT domain teams and the architecture community to ensure development quality, functional coherence, and compliance with group integration principles

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree +4 or +5 (engineering school or equivalent university qualification)
• Minimum 7 years' experience in business analysis (AMOA), technical analysis (AMOE), or Product Owner roles, ideally in an international environment
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and oral
• Strong understanding of information systems architecture
• Knowledge of infrastructure and network principles
• Solid foundation in software development principles
• Proficiency with APIs, integration mechanisms, and database concepts
• Excellent communication skills enabling effective interaction with business and technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and priority-management capabilities
• Intellectual curiosity with a drive to understand challenges and propose improvements
• Genuine listening skills and service orientation; ability to build trusted relationships with end-users

Skills

Experience

Minimum 7 years in business analysis (AMOA), technical analysis (AMOE), or Product Owner functions, preferably within an international or multicultural corporate environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree +4 or +5 in engineering or equivalent university qualification.
