Clarins seeks a 6-month Product Expertise & Quality Intern in Pontoise to develop stability screening methodologies using advanced analytical techniques including Lumisizer technology.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and execute cosmetic formula testing protocols according to defined experimental plans
- Characterize samples using advanced analytical instrumentation including Lumisizer with Step Technology, rheology, and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
- Analyze and process experimental data using statistical methods and visualization software
- Develop and validate rapid stability screening methodologies to assess manufacturing non-conformities
- Generate impact reports and alert guidelines for quality and production teams
- Recommend strategies to optimize non-conformity management and shelf-life determination protocols
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Master's degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in chemical engineering, chemistry, polymer science, or cosmetic formulation
- Demonstrated knowledge of cosmetic product analysis, particularly optical and physicochemical characterization techniques
- Proficiency in experimental design, testing protocols, and data analysis (Excel, statistical software)
- Understanding of cosmetic stability challenges, particularly creaming resistance and sedimentation behavior
- Strong written and oral communication skills

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 1,650 per month.
