Clarins seeks Industrial Transposition Project Manager for fixed-term role in Pontoise, France—manage manufacturing scale-up and process industrialisation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop robust manufacturing processes to ensure industrialisation of group formulations by creating industrialisation plans, stability protocols, and product specifications
- Coordinate project activities in project mode, from formula validation to process validation
- Lead industrialisation projects by ensuring the interface between R&D and the factory, conducting pilot runs, monitoring industrial manufacturing operations, and supporting continuous improvement of existing industrial processes
- Provide technical support for quality investigations, manufacturing investment decisions, and packaging feasibility assessments
Qualifications
- Degree at Bac +5 level (Engineering School, Master's, or equivalent professional experience—VAE)
- Ideally specialised in process engineering (génie des procédés)
- Excellent knowledge of makeup product process development
- Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial transposition
- Knowledge of solar and OTC products (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent English

Minimum 1 year of professional experience in industrial transposition or equivalent process scaling and manufacturing development within the beauty, cosmetics, or related chemical manufacturing sectors.
Education
Bac +5 qualification such as an engineering degree (École d'Ingénieur) or Master's degree, ideally with specialisation in process engineering. Professional experience validation (VAE—Validation des Acquis de l'Expérience) may be considered as an equivalent to formal qualification.
