Clarins Group seeks Financial Controller in Taipei to drive FP&A, reporting, and governance for subsidiary operations in Asia-Pacific.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Commercial, Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insights and support strategic business decisions
- Deliver variance analysis, financial modelling, and data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing, investments, and new initiatives
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles to align with Group requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial closing, P&L and Balance Sheet reporting with full data integrity and visibility
- Monitor and optimize working capital metrics (DSO, DPO, DSI) and cash flow management
- Track profitability across channels, products, and customers; identify opportunities to improve margins and cost efficiency
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and compliance with Group policies and local regulations
- Act as primary contact for audits, financial governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement with external parties including auditors, banks, and advisors
- Support financial evaluation of commercial agreements and operational decisions
- Contribute to transformation initiatives, system improvements, and process optimization projects
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in FP&A, business controlling, or finance business partnering roles
- Proven experience in retail, FMCG, or consumer industries, preferably within Asia-Pacific markets
- Strong exposure to multi-market financial analysis and regional reporting
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and analytical methodologies
- Demonstrated expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems (HFM, ERP, BI tools)
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights and recommendations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence decision-making through data-driven analysis in matrix and fast-paced environments

8–10 years of experience in FP&A, business controlling, or finance business partnering, with strong exposure to multi-market financial analysis and regional reporting. Retail, FMCG, or consumer industry background preferred, ideally within Asia-Pacific regions.
