Clarins Group hiring E-Commerce Technical Specialist in New York for 18-month V.I.E. contract starting September 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to markets for the e-commerce ecosystem via ticketing system
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external resources to resolve technical issues
  • Monitor and maintain portfolio of domestic and international e-commerce sites
  • Escalate unresolved issues while maintaining ownership through resolution
  • Maintenance and management of internal support tools, systems, and related roadmaps
  • Serve as technical referent for functional and technical aspects of the e-commerce ecosystem
  • Communicate and coordinate with management team, development vendors, and business experts globally
  • Monitor, maintain and improve site performance for customers across global e-commerce platforms
  • Assist in testing updates to existing web applications and perform integration testing
  • Oversee project follow-up of technical integrations
  • Participate in design of technical integrations related to e-commerce platform
  • Review and challenge technical integration approaches against industry best practices

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • First experience working and coordinating directly with E-commerce and CRM business
  • First experience in operational support in a Content Management System (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud or equivalent e-commerce platform (preferred)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Systems integration—WebService (REST, SOAP), Batch, EDI, sFTP (preferred)
