Role & Responsibilities
- Establish sales forecasts based on strategic marketing plans and historical sales data, selecting appropriate forecasting models for different product ranges
- Lead Demand Review Meetings and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to integrate key information into forecasts, identify variances, and drive alignment on demand consensus
- Identify and analyze deviations from targets, conduct root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions
- Generate purchase forecasts to the central procurement team according to established calendars and validate monthly quantities
- Proactively communicate with headquarters on merchandise tracking and prevent stock-outs
- Maintain appropriate product management and classification parameters
- Review safety stock levels according to product class and desired service levels
- Lead Inventory Meetings with stakeholders to maintain healthy stock levels while minimizing inventory write-offs
- Direct promotional tracking meetings in a partnership approach to inform, coordinate, and resolve issues
- Maintain and develop reports and dashboards supporting objective achievement
- Improve existing local processes and perform related tasks
- Provide coverage for other planners during absences or vacations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in operations management
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in both French and English (required for interaction with global Clarins entities and Canadian provincial offices)
- Strong organizational skills and teamwork orientation
- Attention to detail with analytical capability
- Ability to deliver results in a rapidly evolving environment
